It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Captain Jerome “Tweet” Brady. Tweet served Horry County Fire Rescue well as both a Training Officer and a Line Officer. Tweet has ties with several other Fire Companies in the area and where he started his career up in Pennsylvania. As an instructor Tweet had a different approach than most, it was a down and dirty hands’ on approach that earned him the respect of all the Firefighters he trained. He carried this method into the field as a Company Officer. Often Firefighters hesitated to go to his house but when they got there they often fought to stay there.

We would like to offer his family and friends, both personal and professional, our thoughts and prayers. We hope that Tweet has found peace. May God be with you!
