American LaFrance Deadline Approaching for Non-Payment


Moncks Corner, SC-  American LaFrance financial troubles continue to affect those in Berkeley County.  American LaFrance has an outstanding balance and has  until Thursday, February 13th at 5PM to pay.

Fire truck maker American-LaFrance, which shut down its Berkeley County operation unexpectedly, still owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to the county.

The company and about 60 others have until Thursday to pay fees owed in lieu of taxes.

American-LaFrance owes somewhere around $600,000.
