Burn Patient after explosion in Bluffton

July 52017 – At Approximately 1:30pm the Bluffton Township Fire District and Beaufort County EMS were dispatched to 207 Bluffton Road (Fat Patty’s) for a possible explosion. Crews arrived on scene and found one employee burned from an apparent Flash Fire. The Patient was air lifted to the August Burn Center. The Bluffton Fire Marshal’s Division and The Town of Bluffton Code Enforcement are on scene to determine the cause of the Flash Fire. No damage to the building was reported but the business will be close until further notice while the cause is determined by order of the Town of Bluffton.
