Two Firefighters Injured After Fighting Back To Back Fires

GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – Two firefighters were hospitalized after battling a house fire in Greenville County.

The fire started around 1 p.m. Tuesday on Leone Avenue.

One firefighter from Parker Fire Department and another from Duncan Chapel Fire Department were taken to the hospital for heat-related issues and dehydration, according to Parker Fire Chief Steve Alverson.

The Parker Fire Department firefighter was still in the hospital as of Wednesday morning. The status of the other firefighter was not immediately available.
