Yemassee Police Department hosting second annual “National Night Out”

The Yemassee Police Department will be hosting it’s second annual “National Night Out” event on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at the Yemassee Town Hall located at 101 Town Cir, Yemassee, SC 29945. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.” We’ll have free food and beverages, school supplies for area students and announcing the student winner of the best “mascot” design for National Night Out. This year we will have several area entities on hand including
